Re the debate about official singles, it’s so hard to know as Djo End of the Begining wasn’t a single from its album at first.

'Honey' as well as 'Missing You', but both stalled on the B-list. God knows when she was last A-listed! (apart from that song she featured on with Jamie xx a couple of years ago)

yea ‘Honey’ mustve been a big one as it’s one of her very few songs on R1 Anthems now 😭 R1 love it and i don’t blame them

Even if it's B-list, I'm just so incredibly happy she's on there at all after all these years.

Decided to do some digging. Could've sworn Do It Again was playlisted in 2014 but turns out it wasn't. Call Your Girlfriend only got as far as the B List. That means Robyn's last appearance on the A List was with Dancing On My Own in 2010! (Hang With Me was also B List).

Two Ghosts made the A List in 2017.

Treat People With Kindness did not make the Radio 1 playlist but did go onto Radio 2's.

Fine Line was not a single in the UK so wasn't added.

ah. Tho luckily fine line is on R1 Anthems (mixed with Sabrina’s ‘bad for business’ of all songs (love it so much but damn it’s an out there pick) and gr*c*e abr*ms), was wondering about Treat People With Kindness but it did pick up a few plays… i did look and saw ‘Love Of My Life’ got a fair amount of plays too?

Dave feat. Tems - Raindance and EsDeeKid - Century both dropped off this last playlist update on Friday, but they’ve been played more or less every daytime show since. What’s the usual timeframe for them not getting regular airtime?

It is normal for A List tracks to become recurrent straight away

It's not every show though. Yesterday Raindance was played 3 times and today it was only twice. Daytime runs from Early Breakfast to Going Home and Radio 1 don't usually just dump A List tracks without playing them again for weeks they lower the rotation gradually instead. Century is a quick and easy play to fill a sub 2 minute gap and so might be on a slightly higher recurrent rotation as a result.

Century does seem to have been played an awful lot though - 5 times Monday and Tuesday and 4 times yesterday, but I wonder whether that's more a reflection of it being taken off the playlist seemingly too early rather than anything else.

Yeh they are both in the top 40 still which maybe explains the continued plays and there are songs which don’t get played much at all around 5-6 days after removal.

RAYE was dropped however many weeks ago and was still played 14 times this week and that's without counting chart show/first look plays.

I think Century has been pulled as a single, 1Xtra removed it last week too.
