Sunday at 23:344 days Brilliant result. A worthy champion and possibly the most universally liked since Button. Long overdue for Italy too.Bodes well for next year to. Interesting to note the Max has been the highest scoring driver since Barcelona so if RB get their car right from the off next year it could be a 5 way battle for the title.

Monday at 18:003 days I completely missed all the penalties at the end so Hirakawa ended up scoring a point in his debut race where he had only one practice session
Tuesday at 21:332 days I think that was obvious. Ryo should be the seat in this weekend after his points finish, but I think his other commitments mean he can't commit to the rest of the races. Jack Doohan has been floated, as has Camera to start with Haas early, but I think he wants to challenge for the F2 title, which he may lose out on if he deputises in F1.
Tuesday at 21:332 days Oh, I see Rafael Camera has already been announced for Saturday. #JusticeForRyo
Tuesday at 21:522 days But there are no more F2 rounds if they cancel Qatar & Abu Dhabi (which seems increasingly likely). And such an Ocon way to leave a team and perhaps this time the sport for good.

Yesterday at 14:041 day RIP to a true legend. After Antonelli ended Italy's long wait for a new champion you have to wonder how long it'll be for Australia. Don't think Piastri will ever get a better chance than last year.
18 hours ago18 hr The French are the ones who should be embarrassed. So many great drivers down the decades but only one champion. To be fair though he was ridiculously good and remains underrated.
15 hours ago15 hr Yes they've not been blessed with a great slew of drivers though. Alesi had the minerals I think but just never was at the right place at the right time. Pironi would have won in 82 but for his career-ending crash. But there haven't been any top class drivers this century.
14 hours ago14 hr There were others of note - Cevert was certainly good enough and we were cruelly robbed of his talents just as he was due to step out of Stewarts shadow. If Laffite had been at Williams at the right time he would have been in the running too but he spent too much time at Ligier.Arnoux was also very fast and was in with a shout of the 1983 title right up until the last raceBut yes, this century has yet to give them a genuine hope for a 2nd champ.
