Wow. It's not often a lead single by an A-list superstar leaves me surprised like this. Kudos to Harry for making another musical swerve here. It sounds like the late 00s in a good way, all the cool

  • 100%, I’m not really particularly bothered about Harry any more than any other big artist I would check out because they’ve released, but I can’t think of any big male artist who would release a 5 min

It was very close between him and Olivia Dean.

Drops from number 1 to number 7 here in Ireland this week.

Dropped from number 1 to number 12 in the United States this week.

Also down to #12 in the UK. The other day I compared it to 'Slow' by Kylie, in that she followed a mammoth era with a risky left-field lead single that got to #1 and dropped quickly - in its first 3 weeks it's had the exact same chart run!

I think Harry will follow this up with a safer 2nd single but i have a feeling that aperture was one of those had to be lead single or not a single at all type of song,.

I don't think anyone expected this to do brilliantly - it's a 5 minute song of him basically mumbling - if anything he's scammed a #1 out of it and you know there is a safer second single on the way.

Number 10 in both yesterdays and todays midweeks so he might have a chance of returning to the top 10 again this week.

I had the same thought about its chart run!
