  • Yeah, that funky house stuff was ruling the dancefloors 2004-6, before electro house popped in in 2006-7. The idea was exactly that to bring together the biggest dance tunes of that time into one mix.

I liked all the disco and 80s influenced dance songs making the chart in 2004-6 - there were quite a lot!

Yeah, that funky house stuff was ruling the dancefloors 2004-6, before electro house popped in in 2006-7. The idea was exactly that to bring together the biggest dance tunes of that time into one mix.

That "One Night In Bangkok" maybe the only exception as it not charted in the UK at all, but it was quite big in Germany and from the style it has fit perfectly in the mix covering Murray Head - One Night In Bangkok. This just reminds me of the old Ministry Of Sound Mix-CD's, where most of the tracks were pre-selected by the label, but the DJ had the chance to nominate 1-2 songs for it.
