Hi all! This thread is for discussing all Skating events at the Winter Olympics this year. This includes the following: Figure Skating, Speed Skating, Short-track speed skating. Feel free to discuss all the ins and outs of the disciplines, any predictions you may have, support for the competitors and other remarks you may have as we kick off on Friday!

Just seen Lilah and Lewis go in the Rhythm Dance of the free skating - third place with two pairs to go (one of whom is expected to win). Not what they would have hoped for but puts them still in contention for a medal!

Another plucky effort from Gibson and Fear there. I think the BBC hyped them up too much.

Just seen Niall Treacy disqualified in the final - not in a medal position so thankfully no repeats of the Elise Christie sagas from years past, but he did well to even make the final in that event.
