March 8Mar 8 Author Melanie C - Undefeated Champion (Preview) not yet available https://youtube.com/watch?v=AGAj_JXcUXY
March 9Mar 9 It sounds a bit more like standard Melanie C pop music... not sure yet, I will wait for the full thing. Right now, this sounds like an updated version of 'Fearless' when it comes to the lyrics/message.
March 9Mar 9 That one minute preview does not sound good. Melanie continues her streak of picking the wrong singles.
March 9Mar 9 Author I this these are only buzz singles, no artwork, no music video, no remixes. Still waiting for the second video she recorded last year
March 13Mar 13 I don't know how to feel about it to be honest... Parts of it are fun, parts of it are well produced, parts of it are just cringe.
March 13Mar 13 What a banger! She did it again. She’s reinvented herself with a new sound that nods to the ’80s. I love it so much. 😍
March 14Mar 14 Nothing from this era is really hitting the mark for me so far. Which is a shame as I loved her last album, and the sound she's going for on paper should be right up my street.
March 14Mar 14 I agree. All 3 songs so far pale in comparison to the last album. It’s kind of shocking these are the best tracks she can get with the amount of work she’s done with raising her profile.

Both WCPGW and Undefeated Champion are 10/10 for me. They’re perfect pop songs that even the likes of Kylie and Dua wish they could put their vocals on.

It’s an empowering, feel-good pop song. It shouldn’t be THAT deep. Also, complaining about lyrics in a forum dedicated to the the Spice Girls… I mean, please…
March 14Mar 14 Melanie picked the right singles for the last album, but this time around she’s back to her old habits of choosing the wrong singles.I feel Melanie should be releasing something experimental and different since she knows she’s not going to get any commercial success in terms of singles. She’s playing it too safe with these new songs. Edited March 14Mar 14 by Sideout
March 14Mar 14 To be fair we haven’t heard the rest of the album yet, perhaps the 3 released songs will end up making sense as the obvious single choices!I like what she’s served from Sweat so far (particularly What Could Possibly Go Wrong), but yes I do much prefer the run of Who I Am - Blame It on Me - In and Out of Love.
