Yeah it was a bit of a weird release. Only announced 48 hours before release too - his singles last year were pushed pretty heavily for weeks on TikTok etc before release.

Oh right I thought he said it was supposed to be a lead single from a new album? Did I mishear that? Or did he say that and then go back on it??

But I see the song was then tagged onto the end of last year's EP and I guess Lewis hasn't officially said anything, so yeah it's not the lead after all.

Will still be interesting to see how a new lead single from Lewis does when it eventually comes, I'd be surprised if it flops completely but I think he'll be struggling to get top 10 hits going forward. His imperial phase is definitely over!

He replied to someone’s comment on a tiktok saying it was just a one off and the lead is coming later on

Saw Lewis live today - he was great! It's a really high production show, with lots of guitars, saxophone, etc added to most of his songs to make them sound incredible live.

He mentioned he'll begin work on his third album after his run of Summer shows. He wants to be back "as soon as possible", so I guess it'll be a 2027 release.
