Who knows - but an album was confirmed for 2026 around the time he came back last summer, so I don’t think an album in place of the EP last year was the plan.I think you would’ve had it announced as soon as ‘Survive’ released if that were the plan too.
April 15Apr 15 Yeah I'm pretty sure it was planned as an EP from the start, with an album to follow in 2026. Can't say I'm super excited for this but he can release a decent song when he wants to so we'll see!
April 16Apr 16 Lewis said in an interview at the end of last year that he hadn’t started the new album yet but that it will be more upbeat and happy, which this song is not. It could just be to try and get him and another hit in the US since he just started his tour there
April 16Apr 16 I like Lewis and I enjoyed 'Survive' but he really needs to change up his sound slightly. He just keeps releasing inferior versions of the hits from his first album. Surely something upbeat at least and not another piano ballad.
