Each week, 8 new releases are selected to go head to head, with one weekly winner which will then go up against future weekly winners later in the year at the end of each quarter of the year, and then again at the end of the year to determine the ultimate winner of 2026.

It is congrats to John Summit whose second album release 'Ctrl Escape' was out last week. Taken as the focus track from it, 'Shades of Blue' becomes his third victory here. It follows 'Go Back' which also guested Julia Church on vocals, and his remix of Delirium's 'Silence'. Another big album release came from TOMORA, the collab project of Tom Rowlands & Aurora, the focus track 'I Drink the Light' placed in 2nd narrowly ahead of Joel Corry's re-do of early 90s hit 'Devotion'.
