Absolutely. SO good! I was gripped by the end of the second episode. David Morrissey is such a talent.

Also my co-workers nephew is playing David Morrisey's older son in it... some awkward viewing for them. 😂

Ooh exciting…! He was in Corrie (for a brief stint) a little while back too!

I was working at one of the bars on Canal Street while they were filming this so it's great to see it finally come out.

I found the first episode to be a little... soundbite heavy? Like, several of the scenes gave me "this is a very unnatural monologue that lasts almost exactly one minute" for a reel/TikTok BUT I can already feel by the second episode that it's found its stride and was just a tad ham-fisted in its direction in the first episode to set the tone. Very much enjoying it and feels very time appropriate.

Yes I am very much enjoying how well the social and political tone has been captured. Russell sure knows how to do queer drama.

I had to finish it and good god that final episode is so intense.

I waited to binge all of the eps and have got just the final episode to watch this evening. I don't know if I want to watch it, as I know its probably going to be really hard viewing - but need to watch it as its so good!

Amazing series though and its so relevant to what's going on today - the scene in episode 4 between Clive and Leo was so intense and really well played. But its been amazing throughout - another hit for RTD.

Also from a shallow point of view the guy playing George (Jackson Connor) is beautiful

Just finished it; that was an incredibly hard watch

The snowballing of everything in the last half hour was so intense.

It certainly escalated very quickly to the point of it being just a tad too much? I certainly applaud for the way it was all written and acted though

Yeah I get what you mean - but I guess it was the effect of herd mentality and all the men feeding off each other and just blaming everything on Leo's character. Not helped by George also pushing blame onto him and Clive's views on him already.

Its not something I think I could watch again.

Saying that, the series did have some great moments and George going out and having his night of discovery was great and feel good - but the ending was just... alot!!! But it is something that is very current and I think maybe became too confronting in the end.

As you say though, brilliantly well acted and written!

But yeah, you know where it’s going from the first 10 seconds and makes it extremely difficult. Definitely be prepared ❤️
