Becky's third album is out 25th September. Available on CD, black vinyl and red splatter vinyl from her store and other outlets.

‘REBECCA’ was written during a period of intense personal and artistic reflection and sees Becky exploring ambition, identity, visibility and the contradictions of her life from a place of greater openness and creative freedom. Across the record, she examines the tension between desire and self-preservation with clarity, humour and brutal honesty, resulting in her boldest, emotionally charged body of work to date.
 
Described by Becky as “curated chaos”, ‘REBECCA’ also marks a significant evolution in her sound. It sees her reconnecting with the wider influences that shaped her early musical identity, pulling inspiration from guitar music alongside the dance and drum & bass foundations that have defined her career. ‘REBECCA’ blends that collision of worlds with heavy electro production, alternative influences and euphoric electronics into an album that feels both expansive and unpredictable.

Still don’t know what’s happening with hands on me!! It’s bundled in with More! More! More!’s single release however in her Instagram announcement post she called the latter the introduction to the era so god knows

So excited for this project, the mailer detailed that this is her most personal album to date where she downed tools and really focused on what album SHE wanted to make as opposed to something more commercial.

She states in the mailer that throughout the process she kept telling herself that it doesn’t matter if no one likes it as it’s a body of work for herself (However, she states that’s just not true and the reality is she really hopes people do love it)

Genuinely sounds like her best album and I’m so here for the change in sound and the fact she’s taken more of a risk.

This really does feel like it has the makings of a body of work rather than a collection of dance songs.

I'm going to wait until there is a signed option before pre-ordering which will likely come in the next couple days.

I find it interesting that she mentions her success being built on dance tracks with fairly vague themes, and that she wanted to showcase something different with this album... Yet she has lead this with two dance tracks 😂

(I guess 'More! More! More!' does have more of a message in the lyrics than your typical Becky song, at least!)

So she got booed at TRNSMT Festival on Friday for only playing new music. It was a secret set though, purposely intended to showcase her new album. Afterglow and Disconnect were performed at the end.
