Fret not folks, the soundtrack for your lazy Sunday afternoon has arrived~ Kurt Vile returns with his first new LP in four years, an ode to his hometown - packed with warm and jangly guitar strumming, hazy arrangements, laid-back deadpan vocals....if you're familiar with Kurt, you know the deal x

Always a good time when there's a new KV release. Solid album top to bottom; probably my favourite since 'b'lieve I'm goin down'. And just in time for steamy summer afternoons.

High points for me are "99BPM" which sounds like a throwback to his EPs and early albums, "Chance to Bleed" which is what would happen if Tom Petty and Stephen Malkmus collaborated.
