Chart Commentary:

Congrats to Grum who scores a fourth #1 hit with 'Slow Motion', climbing two places in its sixth week. It follows on from 'Afterglow' (2020), 'Don't Look Down' (2022) and 'Look to the Light' (2022) - all which are amongst the biggest of the 2020s so far. Whether this can join them in the upper region of the decade-end chart remains to be seen. After its 10 week run, 'Electrocommunion' declines to #4 for Lux Terminus. Their other two hits remain in the top 10. Fat Dog also gain two spots to a new career peak of #2 with 'Go f*** Urself' whilst Jump Source follow them up to #3 with 'Shattered'.

The top entry comes from Kane Parsons at #5, it is his debut in the chart following the song's BJSC appearance. Meanwhile Moron Police's debut hit 'Pachinko, Pt. 1' climbs into the top 10 making it the second song with a runtime over 10 minutes to do so this year. Klangphonics' #15 debut with 'Dying Candle' is their second of the year and tenth in total - with more to follow as they prepare to launch another album, the previous single is still kicking about at #17. Elderbrook also has a second entry of the year (seventh in total) at #19 with 'Is It Over Now?', joining his collaboration with Adriatique which sits at #12 having spent 10 weeks in the top 10.

Kettama's entry with 'Comes and Goes' at #31 is his second following 'It Gets Better', both which guest the same uncredited vocalist. Another debuting act assisted by BJSC appears at #33 coming from Chalk with 'Longer' (the sole rock new entry this week). Back to house music L.P. Rhythm has a third hit this week with 'Like That' at #34, Anotr likewise with 'Like It' at #39 to join biggest hit to date 'Talk To You' at #32. The more established Franky Wah also sneaks in at #40 with 'Down for You' - a thirteenth hit for him which includes four top 10s he had sat all of 2025 out of the chart so a return to form here.
