The fact that she can get this to number 1 and those 1989 tracks couldn't...

Blame her anti streaming stance at the time 🤣🤣

She does have a number 1 from 1989 though. IS IT OVER NOW ?

Could you imagine how many more streams she'd have if she kept her entire discography on Spotify at the time?

And Olivia Rodrigo is going to be the third artist to do it this year.

Fingers crossed she does it. I’d rather she got stopped by Taylor than Rein Me In

True but it did lead to artists being payed more fairly per stream so double edged sword

Fantastic that Taylor Swift beat Rein Me In to the #1 spot, celebrating with a pint of Carling.

Popped in to see the Alex Warren hate, wasn't disappointed. Living free in Buzzjack heads. Oh and the Taylor Swift song is not her worst 😆❤️

I feel the 'return to her roots' thing is being greatly exaggerated / overemphasised with this Taylor song. Maybe it'd feel more like a departure if she did the fake country accent again but to me this song just sounds like any number of mediocre album tracks from her last few albums just with some harmonicas slapped on (which tbf is the best part of the song lol). I've heard it on the radio about 4 times and I'm already bored of it, hope it doesn't stick around too long.

I'd forgotten that Mac Miller had never had a top 40 before even as a feature - came so close with his very first chart entry peaking at #41 but finally got there now! I've still not heard it oops (fallen behind with listening to top 100 entries, need to catch up with my polls again whistle) but intrigued by the length of it x 'Blue World' should have been a big hit for him <3

I've just noticed that 2026 is the first year that Taylor has had multiple UK #1s

Mack not happy Jacko still has 2 songs in the top 10.

What can you do, the Michael Jackson fans will be happy. But there's enough stuff going on for me to not be happy about him having two songs in the Top 10.
