Quer dizer, eles escolheram as músicas, fizeram a playlist reorganizando-as, incluíram "Bandaids" e pronto!

And New Zealand Too

You've just described most greatest hits/compilation albums here. The only difference here, is that this album (to me) doesn't really feel like a legitimate album purely because there has been no prop

I hope they don't.

This compilation seems more like a playlist of her biggest songs rather than a proper greatest hits in my opinion. Everything about this feels that it was rushed to capitalise the viral moment of "The One That Got Away", as well as "Legendary Lovers" and "Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F.)". I mean, they picked the songs, they made the playlist rearranging them, they tacked "Bandaids" and called the day, lol! Anything wrong, in a business and marketing way, to do that, but it leaves a bad impression.

Obviously, Capitol can take advantage of this doing well in the UK and Ireland and release physically, but as I mentioned before, I prefer a proper release than this.

You've just described most greatest hits/compilation albums here. The only difference here, is that this album (to me) doesn't really feel like a legitimate album purely because there has been no proper release for it.

If they release a physical version, I can then at least accept that it should be allowed to rack up these sales, as they might as well just make all <artist> Essentials/This Is <artist> playlists albums chart eligible as it stands 🤣

Down to #12 this week. Doesn't say the total units on the main sales thread for this week, but I guess it's up by a few hundred from last week. Should be around 98k overall now.

Should go Gold this week and its likely that it will eventually make platinum for her.

By my calculations, the album should do just over 200k by the end of the year, and should go Platinum around April 2027.

It becomes Perry's second longest-running project inside the UK Top 20, surpassing “PRISM”.

@KatyPerry’s greatest hits compilation, The Ones That Got The Plays, joins @OliviaRodrigo's you seem pretty sad for a girl so in love, @LilyAllen's West End Girl, and @RAYE's THIS MUSIC MAY CONTAIN HOPE. as the only female projects released in 2026 to be certified Gold for selling over 100.000 units in the United Kingdom.
