The fourth and last quarter-final sees reigning champions Argentina take on Switzerland at the Kansas City Stadium, Kansas City in the early hours of 2am (UK Time) on Sunday morning.

For Argentina, they came back from the brink from 2-0 down to Egypt to beat them 3-2. It is their second quarter-final in a row, their 12th in total.

For Switzerland, thanks to an dull match against Colombia where near the sequel of their 2006 second round match against Ukraine, where they needed penalties to get past Colombia which ended 4-3 on pens to reach only their fourth quarter-final, their first in 72 years.

Live on ITV.

How do we see this one going?

Last 3 Meetings between Argentina and Switzerland:

01/07/2014- Argentina 1-0 Switzerland (World Cup)

29/02/2012- Switzerland 1-3 Argentina (Friendly)

02/06/2007- Switzerland 1-1 Argentina (Friendly)

At Major Tournaments:

01/07/2014- Argentina 1-0 Switzerland (World Cup)

19/07/1966- Argentina 2-0 Switzerland (World Cup)

Expecting Argentina to win but hoping the Swiss can pull off a miracle. They were very promising with penalties in their last match so maybe a draw wouldn’t be the worst outcome? 🥲

might still watch this, but tbh I've lost almost all my mood to watch World Cup because at this point Argentina going to the Final for Halftime purpose is completely unavoidable.

Argentina (4-1-3-2): E Martinez; Tagliafico, L Martinez, Romero, Molina; Paredes; Fernandez, Mac Allister, De Paul; Alvarez, Messi

Switzerland (4-2-3-1): Kobel; Zakaria, Elvedi, Akanji, Rodriguez; Freuler, Xhaka; Ndoye, Sow, Rieder; Embolo

That didn't take long. Switzerland don't concede many but don't score a lot either so will have to go for it a bit now.

Why is Okafor not getting any game time for this Swiss side?

I don’t think anyone who’s watched any Premier League this year would rate Ndoye more than him.
