Disclaimer: This is not a diss/hate topic. I just want to discuss what an overrated Steps single is in our opinion. And..agree to disagree!

Chain reaction

First, I don’t mind the song at all and I’m glad it got them a big hit when they needed it!

• It just didn’t age for me that well as some of their other singles.

• It’s another cover.

• It’s them singing the song, not fully making it their own. I miss a bit of a Steps stamp on it.

• The video has some ‘eh?’ moments for me, like the drums involved.

I just think it was overplayed, the video was way over the top and it doesnt deserve tbe status of their most successful

I'd say its between Tragedy & Chain Reaction. Wish something like Better Best Forgotten or Summer of Love got as much attention back in the day.

Surely it’s gotta be between 5678 and Tragedy? By far and away their two “biggest” songs with the general public… but I’d say most hardcore Steps fans wouldn’t put either of them anywhere near the top of their list.
