Absolutely love Babylon. It harkens back to the tortured poets department and midnight's so much so that it feels like it was written for either of those albums.

Pink clouding is a close second with the new single in 3rd but each of these are excellent.

As for the fourth one, I can't even remember the name of it so take of that what you will 🤣

Patient Zero has certainly got better with more listens.

I'm really loving Babylon - it and Ruin the Friendship are the only two songs I enjoy from this entire era though sadly.

Seems that the whole world has pretty much agreed Cleveland is the worst track here

I feel that all four tracks could easily belong to other eras as well.

Patient Zero could easily fit the vibe of both Reputation & Tortured Poets Department.

Cleveland! wouldn't feel out of place on the Lover album next to London Boy.

Pink Clouding is definitely screaming 1989 synth pop vibes.

Babylon, I feel, could slot into Speak Now quite easily as well.

If all tracks from Life Of A Showgirl were individual tracks on different albums, I think they would sound much stronger as a whole, some even being stand outs on those perspective albums.

I just don't feel that the tracks showcase the theme of the album other than the Life Of A Showgirl track itself.

definetley not the whole world , yes its getting marmite reactions but its far feom the whole world

One of the criticisms was its not showgirl enough and she could have made the deluxe more showgirl like but chose to not even match these songs with the album. Although Cleveland fits in the most.

I think for her next album, she needs to experiment with a different sound or go down a similar route to I Knew It, I Knew You but with a mature outlook as it wouldn't obviously be tied to a Disney/Pixar movie. Maybe she could take some inspiration from Ella Langley & return to a her actual country routes.

I'd bet everything on her going back to country roots after this, there's no way she'd ignore the anniversary of debut and how country pop is back on trend, and even though it's the side of her that I'm less fond of personally I know that it would be appreciated among the fandom more than the last two eras.

I say that although I Knew It I Knew You was disliked by most here so she can't win either way lmao

Sometimes, I wish she never released these Taylor Versions of her past albums as they would have made a good base for some completely new studio albums.

The vault tracks on Red TV would have made a brilliant album & all she had to do was craft a handful of new tracks to make a complete album. The 1989 vault tracks could have also been a great base for a brand new album.
