Chart Recap | Week 40

October kicks off by answering last week’s question: What Happened? Well... flowerovlove just jumped 5 places straight to #1, leaving everyone else in the dust.😄

Bea Miller is right behind her, sending drunk enough another 5 places upward to a new peak of #2. Four weeks in, she seems increasingly unwilling to sober up.

The week's highest debut belongs to Sienna Spiro, who storms straight in at #3 with Back To Blonde. Back to blonde, and apparently straight back to business.😎

Alex Warren quietly reaches another new peak as Emerald Eyes moves to #4, while last week's champion Teddy Swims falls four places to #5 with Need You More.

Fast Boy make one of the week's biggest moves, racing 9 places to #6 with Beautiful Life. Once again, Fast Boy moving fast saves us considerable effort on the wordplay.

Former #1 Paloma Faith slips five places to #7 with Gold. Two weeks after taking gold, seventh place is a rather different medal ceremony.

Elle Coves falls to #8 with All of America, while Benjamin Steer takes Be My Love five places higher to a new peak of #9.

And Bea Miller appears again at #10, debuting with sex for Attention. Attention duly received: two Bea Miller songs in the Top 10.🤗

At #13, Angèle, Caroline Polachek & SebastiAn make a formidable new entry with Love Triangle. Three artists, one love triangle - at least the maths is unusually tidy.😁

Gryffin feat. Chance Peña climb 9 places to #16 with Hard Time Lover, while Martin Garrix & U2 arrive one place below at #17 with Fireflies.

Dabin feat. Claire Ridgely take Part-Time Lover four places higher to #18. Part-time employment, full-time chart progress.🤑

And almost monday returns at #19 with french kids. Almost Monday arriving on a Sunday feels suspiciously well organised.✌

Hi there!

Nice to see "Emerald Eyes" reaching a new peak, "Beautiful Life" in the top 10 and the debut for "Fireflies".

Great chart!

Take care.

Hello!

Yass gold. Still living for this on your chart. 🥳🥳

Hi,

nice to see a Sienna classic entering. Angèle's newest song is a BOP - cannot wait for her album.

Hello,

Love that Say Now track <3.

Have to listen to new Angele, and now I am hyped seeing in others people charts already!!!

Hey Bgoood! :)

Interesting to see Bea Miller with multiple songs in the Top 10 this week! I'm currently obsessed with 'LA Ugly' after it was recommended to be by a friend.

I also like seeing 'Taste' among the flashbacks. Can't believe it's been well over two years since it becoming a global hit!

Good chart yet again.

Take care!

Hey Bgoood,

Sienna Spiro, Alex Warren and Fast Boy all Top 10 + Martin Garrix/U2 and Angèla Top 20

Good seeing new peak positions for Alex Warren and Natasha Bedingfield 😁

New debut for Martin Garrix 😁

Hi bgoood

Yay that's a strong debut for 'Love Triangle'!

I'm a big fan of Caroline Polachek and have been enjoying this Angèle era a lot, so was excited for this collab and it didn't disappoint ❤️
