It's a bit early but some this is what's going on so far

The 5th album is hard at work and will be due around summer or autumn, entitled just "Sugababes".

There are rumours of collaborations/producers with Plan B, Akon, Orson, Joss Stone, The Streets, Dizzee Rascal, William Orbit, Dallas Austin, Jamie T, and JC Chasez, but the only confirmed ones are Dallas Austin and William Orbitso far

They were in Sweden recording with Bloodshy and Avant (producers of the track Supernatural from AWDF).

Good if the Streets produced something, Mike Skinner should go more into production now instead of putting out albums like the last one that people hated, Dizzee Rascal would be minted too

I am really excited about this album.

Athough, I feel they should go back to styles like 'Red Dress', 'Hole In The Head' and 'Push The Button'.

No I don't

You see it all the time with artists who were popular, but then got bigger and there sound becomes so much more commercial and over-produced

It puts me in mind of Coldplay - X & Y in the sense that it's still very good but the songs produced sound too clean and crisp

If they go back to the early record-styles they did it will put some heart into the songs, trust me

Im just hoping for the best with this album i really hope it can be another big one for them
I hope that they do work with some of the artists rumoured as there are a fair few of them who are very credible artists and hopefully it should get Sugababes taken as serious artists again. :D Hopefully the new album will live up to the hype.

I think it's a case of if they sort themselves out it will be a pretty big one, but if they continue with WTW sort of thing, nah, they're gonna's

If they work with some of the rumoured ones, then definately

The Jamie T one sounds very interesting, but I'm not sure if he's going to make a proper breakthrough, his albums had 3 singles but it's nearly out of the top 75 after about 5 weeks already

His next song, "So Lonely Was The Ballad" is good but I can't see things turning around for him unless he does a decent video :(

Here's some more rumours:

Other producers rumoured to be working on the forthcoming album are Timbaland and Mark Ronson.

The lead single is said to be a dance-pop single, in a similar vein to 'Push The Button', with Amelle taking lead vocals. The single has been confirmed as a Dallas Austin track, and the video will be filmed on the 31st July 2007.

Probably made up though? I don't really believe about either Timbaland or Mark Ronson

Never say never, im sure Timbaland & Mark Ronson would be really interested in working with the UK's biggest girl group at the minute

Im really excited about this now, i just got excited reading the first post then i realised its old news and ive read it before

I really hope they arent working with Timbaland..yet another artists has joined the band wagon. I loved sugababes sound from their last studio album and it did well so why cant they stick with a similar formula that works.

Sugababes are probably the biggest girldband since All Saints sales wise and they're as big as All Saints ever were

Edited by blade699

I agree Matt i cant wait for all the pop :D

i sniggered becasue the sentence ended with "at the minute".

Can't argue over entire career though :)
