March 4, 200719 yr Please... its just rehashing his previous hit. Sadly that's what the majority of Dance music seems to be :( Hence why you don't get many dance artists having big albums let alone and just continue to be DJs instead.
March 4, 200719 yr 32 Calvin Harris - Acceptable In The 80s http://www3.hmv.co.uk/hmv/Large_Images/HMV/88697063932.JPG Chart Run: 32 Calvin Harris is making his mark on 2007 in fine style. 'Acceptable In The 80s' is Calvin's first proper single release. It sparkles with highgloss, glitz and glamour; like a disco ball catching the light. A masterpiece of hooks and gushing synths, 'Acceptable In The 80s' is testament to the talent at work. No wonder that the man in question has been asked to work on Kylie Minogue's forthcoming comeback album. - HMV Video here: p1S3JCknQJ4 track listing * 1. Acceptable In The 80s [Radio Edit] * 2. Love For You * 3. Acceptable In The 80s * 4. Acceptable In The 80s [Tom Neville Remix] I like this tune but it would be better if there was no one falsetto voice singing the chorus on there.
March 4, 200719 yr I think Nelly will get Top 5 We need a clear out next week, hopefully Mika, kaisers etc will leave top 5 and make way for Lily, Omarian and Nelly  I'm thinking Justin and Fedde Le Grand will be the main challengers ;)
March 4, 200719 yr I'm thinking Justin and Fedde Le Grand will be the main challengers ;) I would love Top 5 to be Nelly, Justin, Fedde, Omarian and Lily
March 4, 200719 yr Nelly Furtado - Say It Right :dancing: :dancing: :dancing: :dancing: From my hands... From my mouth... From my body...I can show you.. God knows :kink:
March 4, 200719 yr I can't wait to see what magic Timbaland can come up with producing forthcoming singles by Duran Duran & Bjork.
March 4, 200719 yr Ok then , i Havent been a fanm of MIKA, kaisers or leona - is that the only number 1s or what? I just think they have all been MEH Leona - boring piece of c**p that we've heard a million times over from these so called 'reality' winners. If she comes back with this amazing ground breaking album Cowell keeps bigging up maybe I'll care. Mika - amazing, breath of fresh air to the charts. Album is just a randomly, sculptured pop masterpiece. Kaiser Chiefs - meh OK song I guess but it doesn't scream #1 at all. Take That - as I said earlier it's OK but still. None of these songs have really come out of nowhere to be #1 - they've all made it based purely on hype ir dedicated fan bases. I perfer it when you get a shock #1 like Shakira that does exceptionally well and you'd never in a million years have thought it would top the chart :P
March 4, 200719 yr I'm thinking Justin and Fedde Le Grand will be the main challengers ;) Next week's chart will be exciting! :cheer:
March 4, 200719 yr is it me or have all the number 1s this year so far been c**p Last time it got you into trouble, unless I make it permanent this time.
March 4, 200719 yr I hope an American gets #1 next week  I prefer American music  Nah, British is better imo :cheer: Especially now most artists don't try to be american :D
March 4, 200719 yr Sadly that's what the majority of Dance music seems to be :( Hence why you don't get many dance artists having big albums let alone and just continue to be DJs instead. But that's applicable to most indie bands around, they release songs far too similar to their previous hit. For dance artists, it normally works because you get a hit again. And dance has never been about albums anyway, the market for dance albums is the compilation sector.
March 4, 200719 yr Nah, British is better imo :cheer: Especially now most artists don't try to be american :D I know most people think it is, but I just prefer American, its not as indie and I hate indie
March 4, 200719 yr Last time it got you into trouble, unless I make it permanent this time. HUH?
March 4, 200719 yr what got me into trouble? saying the number 1s this year have been rubbish? its just an opinion like everyone else is having on here
