Chart Run: 28-18-25-8-17

She's back. Sophie Ellis-Bextor returns with her brilliant new single 'Catch You', which includes a hook so infectious that it that burrows into your brain and stays there in a three minute spin that washes out nu-wave angular guitars with a nagging pop melody. Destined to cause murder on the dancefloor, 'Catch You' is taken from Sophie's eagerly anticipated third album of 21st century pop, entitled 'Trip The Light Fantastic'.

38 Good Charlotte - Keep Your Hands Off My Girl

Chart Run: 38

Following the top ten success of 3 of their last singles, Good Charlotte release their first new single in 2 years ‘Keep Your hands Off My Girl’, the first to be taken from the band’s much anticipated fourth album 'Good Morning Revival'. 'Keep Your Hands Off My Girl' is a great indicator of what to expect from the new album, mixing their signature anthemic rock style with dance floor inspired beats. - HMV

Clearly, Good Charlotte is trying to update their sound for their album and it's not fooling me at all. Also in the US, Good Charlotte decided to release the tune "The River" as the first single of their new album but I wouldn't be surprised to see this record released second.

I would have hoped for Sophie to have been a bit higher. :(

:bounce: thats A DROP

I thought this Sophie song was going to make the Top 3 :(

I'm sure Aly will be biting a few kneecaps of at this news :smoke:

Awaiting the forthcoming follow-up single 'Restraining Order'

I really dont think Fedde Le Grandes music is any good :puke2:

I'm sure Aly will be biting a few kneecaps of at this news :smoke:

Well, this time last week I predicted 8-16, so it was expected. I'm relatively pleased as 8-17 is a lot better than 8-20 or falling out like it was looking set to at the start of the week.

I feel really sorry for Sophie. She deserves more than only # 8 and then dropping down to # 17 :(

See I didn't miss much when I went to get something to eat

16 Camille Jones vs Fedde Le Grand - The Creeps

Chart Run: 16

'The Creeps' finds Fedde taking a slightly different but no less addictive direction. Sprinkling his trademark magic over a superb club record, Fedde has mixed Camille's haunting vocals with his raw bass heavy production. The results are huge. - HMV
