Its that time of the week again, looks like Girls Aloud and The Sugababes could be the new #1 this week, unless Take That can hold them off for a third week, as for the album chart its more of a competition between Ray Quinn and Ben Mills, HMV spokesperson Geraldo says Ray Quinn could take the No.1 in the album chart, just have to wait until the fat lady sings. Hopefully MW report will be posted up at some point today, and chart info will follow soon after, in the meantime have a kit kat break on me  and make a prediction. Please do not post any sales info or lists. Thank you.

From MTV UK:

Girls Aloud and Sugababes look set to knock Take That off the top spot this Sunday (March 18) with their Comic Relief ditty 'Walk This Way'.

But it won't be a Walk in the park for the ladies as there are currently only 700 copies separating them from Gwen Stefani (with 'The Sweet Escape') at No 2, according to midweek sales figures.

In the album charts, Kaiser Chiefs will be shunted from their prime position by 'cheeky' Scouse crooner Ray Quinn.

The 18-year-old's swing album 'Doing It My Way' sold over 17,000 copies in its first day of release putting him 5,000 copies ahead of his nearest rival, Take That's 'Beautiful World'.

Meanwhile, his ex-factor rival Ben Mills's debut disc 'Picture Of You' looks set to land at No 4.

Well, it is Mother's Day this Sunday...

I would but, I don't have a kit-kat. Now you've got me wanting one. As well as the updates.
Come on Llorenna...top 75 I hope!!! Doing c**p on downloads and available almost nowhere so No.75 would be incredible lol!!! Her last single This time I know its for real got to No.14 I think

Who on earth is Lucie Silvas and what makes you think she'll outsell the new LCD Soundsystem album?

Not much point in speculating this week - tis the silly season.

Album has been delayed for a few months but hopefully it can gain a semi-respectable position though I'm sure most people won't have even heard the 2 singles shes released from it

Well, "Walk This Way" will get a number 1 for sure <_< I kinda like the track, but not for the number 1 spot  I hope Camille & Fedde might remain Top 10, and go for a good Top 5 position  The rest is predictable : Top 3 for take That & Gwen.... and let's hope Calvin Harris becomes a super-hit  xox.

GA/Sugababes #1

Calvin Harris #4

Nobody else in the top 10 though I would expect Good Charlotte, P Diddy, Fergie, Christina Aguilera to all climb into the top 20 and Fratelis and Maximo Park to debut?

Dont care for the albums- hope Lucie Silvas doesn't flop but a bit silly to release in Mother's Day week where the chart will eb full of more $h!t than usuals especially if that slimy Liverpudlian c**t gets to #1 :puke:

What is everyone thinking for 'walk this way' sales? ;) im thinking about 100k by the end of the week, and about 35 so far.

Ah...well, it is Mother's Day week. You could be right.

I think the Girls Aloud / Sugababes single will sell considerably less than Gareth Gates & McFly did. Most people seem united in feeling the girls put absolutely no effort in whatsoever. I'd be more inclined to give a fiver direct and cut out the need to own it.

The new Comic Relief song has to be the worst ever recieved. And deservedly so, it makes Gareth Gates & The Kumars song seem like the greatest song of this decade.

You've forgotten Westlife- Uptown girl :puke2:

I thought Peter Kay was doing that 500 miles charity single as well for Comic Relief? I've not heard it anywhere.

Really? That's slightly better then. Doing it in character is likely to be better...
