Lap 53 of 71:

Raikonnen 1st (team-mate Massa has let him pass)

Alonso 3rd

Hamilton 8th

If positions stay the same Final Race Standings will be:

1 Kimi Raikkonen Ferrari Fin 100 +10 = 110 Pts

2 Fernando Alonso McLaren-Mercedes Spa 103 + 6 = 109 Pts

3 Lewis Hamilton McLaren-Mercedes GB 107 + 1 = 108 Pts

Kimi Raikkonen :D

all Alonso's fault I tell thee :kink:

Watch McLaren kick him out the door

F1 World Championship Standings 2007 Final

1 Kimi Raikkonen Ferrari Fin 100 +10 = 110 Pts

2 Lewis Hamilton McLaren-Mercedes GB 107 + 2 = 109 Pts

3 Fernando Alonso McLaren-Mercedes Spa 103 + 6 = 109 Pts

Still at least Lewis Hamilton has become the first team-driver to outperform his World Champion team mate in a season since 1988 when Ayrton Senna outperformed Alain Prost also in a McLaren car.

Huge well done to Kimi this year. A superb driver who's deserved it to win it before finally does. I am a little bit gutted that Lewis didn't win but I think this is the fairest result. He hasn't tried to play mind games and cheat against his team-mate, he hasn't had a car which is made by a team that's spied on their rivals, he's just got on with the job and done it superbly. It's taken 7 years of hard work but he's finally done it!

I agree and his Ferrari had reliability issues in three races earlier in the season (in the same way that he suffered reliability problems in the previous two seasons at McLaren when he had to settle for runners up spot in the Championship), he also won two more Grand Prix races this season more then any of his rivals, so I have to agree that Kimi fully deserves to be called a Formula 1 World Champion. -_-

What a c**p week for England

I'm just glad Alonso didn't win.

The best bit was where the pit crew got ran over by their own car

 one way to mark your F1 debut I guess  Thankfully they weren't seriously hurt

I hate Raikkönen. But McLaren can blame only themselves for this season. Kimi and Ferrari have done their job. That's it, end of story.

Next year ----> Go BMW :cheer:

BREAKING NEWS: Fuel irregularitys with the 2 BMW's could see both drivers disqualifed. And what do you know the leader of the governing body before todays race said he wanted Hamilton to win, and should this happen Hamilton would be lifted to 5th in the final placings and therefore become the winner.

 too good to be true

Now maybe the IRB can decide England deserved 3 tries and 6 penalties

and to rule out Russia's 2 goals due to an irregularity with a blade of plastic
