They're not gonna favour him which is what he wants. If he doesn't want to be an equal then he has to lower his sights and go for a non top-2 team.

I'm no fan of Hamilton's but if he wins it'll have been because he's been the most consistant driver all season. Alonso made 4 or 5 mistakes in the early part of the season which were his, and NOT McLarens fault! Hamilton has only made, what two? mistakes all season and he's not scored a point in either of those races. Alonso hasn't been good enough and he knows it so he's gone crying to the media like the spoilt child he is over exaggerating everything which is hardly the behaviour of a World Champion and so called proffessional. October 20, 200717 yr Ok I know little about fast cars ..... but again (according to sky sports news) Hamilton has been cheating. Why is he not disqualified from tomorrow's race? Why is his team fined ££ that obviously wont bother them at all? Seems in other sport such a blatant flaunting of rules would result in slightly more serious punishment - I mean it is not like the team didn't know the rules about tyres! If Hamilton wins the Championship ..... surely will be a little hollow in thelight of all the 'shadows' over his team.

October 20, 200717 yr Disqualified?! :lol: THAT would make the whole thing a joke. The three drivers that did it all recieved the same penalty making any advantage they'd get cancelled out. Not only that but they'd gain no advantage anyway as it's not likely to rain at all for Qualifying and the Race. So what benefit would they have by running an extra set of wet tyres? Absolutely none. Also, Alonso has said he wasn't aware of the rule either and would probably have done the same. You break a rule, you get a punishment that fits the crime. Sato, Hamilton & Button broke the rule and they've just recieved a punishment to fit their crime.
