Posted April 15, 200619 yr Air your views, what did you think of it For a start with the episode was awesome, David Tennant fits the role perfectly, and Billie a perfectionist actress, she just grows as an actress and gets better each week. It was great seeing a character from the first series coming back in the shape of Cassandra, I love the body switch, when Cassandra was transposed into the Doctor quite hilarious. Next week's episode looks quite appealing  roll on 7 days from now. I give today's episode 9/10
April 15, 200619 yr It is a disgrace that Swindon's finest got snubbed of a Best TV Actress nomination at the forthcoming BAFTAs. I liked the whole switch concept especially when you consider the episode was how Cats were using Humans as test-guinea pigs to cure diseases (very Anti-Vivisection). Great to see Zoe Wanamaker's Cassandra character back & the ending leaves it wide open for her to return (as she could easily of switched with her former self). A good few one liners "Talking Out Of Your ....." 8/10
April 15, 200619 yr I thought it was quite good, although there have been better eps. I thought this ep was more of a get to know the new doctor and how he's changed from the old one, and was a bit of a filler episode but you can't really expect much from the first episode in a new series. Next weeks looks good though. 7/10
April 15, 200619 yr I thought it was awesome. David Tennant really is well suited to the role, and Billie is a superb actress. I thought the body swap was quite funny, and David and Billie handled it well. So funny to see David camping it up as a woman. The general story was quite good. An impressive start to the new series. Bring on the next episode. 9/10 Edited April 15, 200619 yr by Mark
April 15, 200619 yr It was ok, nice to see they got quite far away from earth, lol. Ok storyline. Didn't like the mind changing thing though. 7/10

April 15, 200619 yr I defintiley think that David Tennant is better suited to the Doctor rather than Chris Eccelston.
April 16, 200619 yr I defintiley think that David Tennant is better suited to the Doctor rather than Chris Eccelston. There were times when he seemed to be doing an impersonation of Chris Eccleston though...  I disagree, Eccleston was a brilliant doctor, Tennant is bloody good and is fitting into the role well, but in terms of the actual acting, Eccleston was technically superior. The episode itself was good, but definitely had a touch of The Matrix about it....
April 16, 200619 yr I loved it and David Tennant was excellant as the Doctor Cant wait till next week "I'm A Chav"
April 16, 200619 yr I actually prefer Chistopher Eccleston to David at the moment. Maybe I'll change my mind as I see more of the new episodes. I REALLY want Mark Gatiss to be Doctor Who (he's from The League Of Gentlemen). He's written episodes of it and it's always been his dream. I think he would be brilliant. April 16, 200619 yr I actually heard that for the next Doctor they were going to find a female actor to play the role. I reckon this wouldn't be such a bad idea, I cant see any reason why The Doctor can't be a woman; it's just a case of finding the right actress for the part.... Daniella Nardini? (Anna from "This Life"), Michelle Gomez? (Sue from "Green Wing"), either of these would be pretty good choices, Michelle Gomez even looks a bit like David Tennant....
April 16, 200619 yr I don't like the idea of it being a woman. As it's always been a man I don't think they should have a woman now. Wouldn't really be the same.
April 16, 200619 yr I don't like the idea of it being a woman. As it's always been a man I don't think they should have a woman now. Wouldn't really be the same. Why not - we've had a female Prime Minister so why not a female Dr. Who. Another TV/Movie actress who I think is more than capable of playing the role is Anna Friel. Although thinking about her partner David Thewlis would also make a great Dr. Who!

April 16, 200619 yr I thought this was brilliant, I've only seen a few episodes but this was the best yet. And the acting was so good, especially David Tennant :o 9/10
