so was anyone a fan of tank girl before and after gorillaz?

yeah years ago (though i dont know when) it had naomi watts in it as jet girl, think it was one of the first things she did in hollywood. however dont know if J.H. liked it or not, maybe he disassociated himself with the project like Alan More and V for Vendetta as i dont think Tank Girl film was supposed to be that great
I think that some of the Spice Girls (Geri in particular) auditioned for it before they were famous! :lol:
I had never heard of Tank Girl before this forum was put up and I did a bit of research. It was a comic wasn't it?

the film was regarded as pants, like many of these cinematic outings they annoy the leftfield comic book fans out there

very much so, there have been loads of stories about director who have been put in charge of directing comic book film having to do the circuit at comic fairs and memrobilia shows to reassure the fans and not annoy them
