The first song that they record was ‘Key to my Heart’ which was selected to be on the Kazaam soundtrack. At last Alecia was getting somewhere musically. Antonio wanted to get the girls into Atlanta in four days so an excited Choice flew out to Atlanta to see Antonio in his office. http://i171.photobucket.com/albums/u301/pinkprincess66613/Choice/pink_band.jpg They performed their songs and their audience loved them. Choice got their record deal with LaFace Records. Alecia signed the record contract when she was just 16 years old. It was a big achievement for her. She now knew that she was going to be famous and felt that she didn’t need school any more so she dropped out. She had a limo pick her up from school on the day she left, there was no looking back for alecia now. The girls all lived together in a house and had a lot of fun together. They soon became best friends. They performed three songs badly. Alecia stood out from the other girls but their performance was still poor. He thought the performance was poor but he still thought she was a good singer. He suggested that alecia left the group and went alone as a solo artist. This was a hard descion for alecia as she had grown a fine friendship with the rest of the group. But she so desperately wanted to reach her dreams of becoming famous. But she was getting tired of people calling her alecia and one day she went into LA Reid’s office and said “I’m not alecia, I’m Mr Pinkâ€. Resivour dogs was one of alecia’s favourite films and her friends told her she was like Mr Pink because a crazy character which fitted alecia’s personality perfectly. She took it off to reveal short, bright pink hair.
