Neither were underrated, the first was a HUGE #2 and the latter was a 2-week number one, hardly what one would consider being underrated!

A quick think from me and i say Ashlee Simpson - LaLa from 2004 and Ashlee Simpson - Boyfriend from 2005. And yes i am a fan of Ashlee Simpson

ATC - Around The World is from 2000. the UK was late in getting it.

I'd say Mandy Moore - Crush, lovely song

I know, I remember hearing it in 2000 and then it never came out here  Then it had a slight UK remix for 2002 and I was sure it would be a hit

Great list Shoat...I have the Black Box Recorder song on single...its so great but criminally underrated :( That Reflekt song was a brilliant dance song and it was a shame it missed the top 10

At least Kosheen's All in my head made the top 10...the far superior Catch was brilliant and should have gone top 5

Black Box Recorder?

I'm certain I have heard something by them and really liked it. I may be confusing it with something else though.

Here's the video to The Facts of Life:

I'll think of more later but these are the ones off the top off my head:

2003

Ruby Amanfu- 'Sugah' (so cheesy but I love it!)

LeAnn Rimes- 'Suddenly'

Maria Willson- 'Mr Alibi'

2004

Beverley Knight- 'Not Too Late For Love'

Kristian Leontiou- 'Some Say'

Utada Hikaru - Sanctuary

Zorg! I <3 Hikki so much

I don't think this was released as a single though? The Japanese version 'Passion' was, but I think this was just used for the KHII game

Yeh that's the one. :o

Thanks.

Agree with all of these, how they were all not top 10 hits I don't know

Simple answer: The public are bast*rds. :(

I think you'd better blame the radio stations, pluggers and taste makers first before 'the public' as 'the public' are only puppets in a comercial game of commodities

Very true...I remember only hearing ATC once on my local radio station and that was the sunday 6 days after it had been released...useless

The public will by large buy what they are fed. If a song is advertised on the front page of iTunes it gets a hell of a lot more attention than had it not been...

Look at Chipz-Cowboy which reached No.42 not so long ago...it had no promotion, no airplay but was woolies No.1 so enough fools were tricked into buying it for that reason and the song ended up about 200 places north of what I would have expected
