Promise not to get mad at mine if I post it ? ;) I think many females on the board could be deeply offended so I don't know whether to or not :(

I'm sure these children aren't braindead yobs at the point when they're supposed to be learning to read and write etc., because it seems to me that primary school is the main point at which they're being failed

oooh, I thought we were discussing Year 7-11

No. I know what you are going to say. Don't. ;)

Ok this is going to come across as terribly sexist and trust me it is not meant to be offensive but here is my theory for the decline of this country

20 years ago women going out to work was almost unheard of, a tiny minority, the man went out and worked and the woman stayed at home and ran the home and looked after the kids, now the number of working women has gone through the roof and now instead of the kid getting home from school and spending time with mum many kids infact the majority are latchkey kids who get back from school and find no mother at home and when she finally gets home from work she is tired and can't be arsed and just wants to relax after a hard days work and watch tv so doesnt care what the kids get up to and what they are doing and whether they have done their homework or not whereas 20 years ago mum would have been at home looking after the kids and ensuring discipline in the home, i think the explosion in women going out to work has resulted in a reduction in the caring for kids in families, I am not talking about any one here be it teenager or woman but am talking about it in the sense of the chav kids in this country who need family discipline and guidance

Well tbh ive seen 2-4 year olds which are impossible to discipline and laugh in your face or swear at you if u try to stop them,

by the time they are 11, they are truly hideous creatures which are a poor waste to this planet in every way possible.

Id say 70% of 12-14 Year Olds drink alcohol, increasing to 90% by 15-16.

Most chav mum's don't seem to work where I live.

no other country has a culture where the young get as drunk as they can and then go on sprees of violence and puking in the streets which is a typical friday and saturday night here

Apart from the violence and for under 18's (which is the VAST minority) what's wrong with that? It's what the majority of people my age actually look forward to and it's not like you've never done it! People being human and drinking too much resulting in them throwing up in the street? :o SHOCKING! Because you know everyone can control where they puke especially when drunk, no one is actually human :) They should all sit indoors instead. BAN FUN :) Underage drinking is a problem, yes and people who get violent when their drunk shouldn't drink but Friday and Saturday nights are the best, I plan to drink a lot on Friday but I hope I don't throw up.

The simple thing is parents saying NO! My mother always treated me fairly and never resorted to smacking or anything and I've turned out fine. If I ever listened to my father who DID smack me then I'd be a rude, violent and miserable man like him.

Don't turn this into another smacking thread lol.

That is not true generally, the reason is the drunken slag of a mum would rather drink a bottle of vodka then care for the child, and the dad go

down the pub and drink with mates and not even know whats happened to the kids, many violent kids, though not all are like it because

the parents are, and usually the parents dont work or if they do, spend all their money on drinking and nothing on the kids.

Well it's going to come up at some point as it's about how to make sure kids don't turn into the 'yobs' that are around.

I am not talking about the type of person on this board or their friends I am talking about the type that this thread was originally about and the type that terrorise Mary's neighbourhood, I have no doubt that most young people are very responsible and are just out to have a good time but there are many who cannot and they are the ones I was labelling not you guys

Yip. I knew that was what you were going to post. To be honest though I'm not even sure that's the main reason. I've got other ideas. Equally controversial.

I think you might actually have a point here! Kids don't have enough time to spend with their mothers and a mothers' tiredness does sometimes result in them being too tired to cook properly for their kids and so they all live on complete c**p etc.

Well post them then! I don't think anyone would hold it against you or anything.

I don't agree at all, drinking 'alcohol' was never a dailty requirement so why was it made in the first place?

So your saying screaming abuse down the street and singing loudly and being violent waking people in their houses up

is acceptable because its fun to them? Yes fun can be had but do people really need to drink to have 'fun'.

People arent the same when they are drunk, they become more confident and dont care what they do, this may

seem fun but if the person is violent he/she can end up causing harm to others and often death, also drink driving is a problem to.

Yeah but you can't just ban alcohol because some people go too far.
