May 1, 200719 yr If the Manics do hold on it will be quite a climb to No.1...26-1 :-0 That's assuming that they are No.1 MW says that they have sold 3,000 more than B&S and a top 3 place looks likely...they could of course be at No.2 with Gym Class Heroes ahead of them at No.1...
May 1, 200719 yr Natasha is Top 10, update in a minute Yay thank you so much Mikey!! It sounds right now and I feel better!! Now I just hope she'll stay there and maybe go up a bit!
May 1, 200719 yr I'm shocked that the follow up to the million-selling, sensational Unwritten is only due to go into the lower end of the top 10...Babies really wasn't a good choice for lead single...
May 1, 200719 yr I really can't see why people think Natasha will be very big. It wouldn't surprise me if her 2nd album flops like Daniel's. :smoke:
May 1, 200719 yr Author So Dada and hellogoodbye are the only new songs to the top 40? :o Looking at the releases for this week that looks about right, it seems Dragonette are outside the top 40
May 1, 200719 yr :smoke: LOL you predicted it yesterday, that's not like if you said it months ago lol Everyone knew that this album wouldn't get as much hype as 'Unwritten'. 'Babies' missed top5, and the album didn't do good on pre-order charts... Seems like British people get jealous when their native artists get successful in the US

From what I've read on a few boards the general consensus is that this album is a poor follow up, made up mainly of rn'b tracks. Sounds as if she's pandering to the American market. It is a good album but not even in the same league as Unwritten... I still can't find any sensational songs on there like Unwritten, These Words or Wild Horses I have found about 5 or 6 very good tracks so far. 'Stumble' which was on the American version of Unwritten really should have been included as that was soooo good  There have been a lot of poor comebacks from female artists this year...Joss Stone, Natasha, Lucie Silvas and by the looks of it...Kelly Clarkson :-(

I agree and i think Joss Stone did the same ..listening to her album it seemed like she was catering to the American market..it put me off and i did not buy it <_<
May 1, 200719 yr i expected a better chart performance from natasha, she's done tons of promo here in the last 2 weeks and yet her single only reached #7 her record company must have been hoping for a top5 single and album. Joss stone is doing much worse. its over for her here, her antics are a big factor in why she is flopping
May 1, 200719 yr I hope Blunt flops with the next album- his voice is so annoying and he's such an arrogant prat!
May 1, 200719 yr Makes you wonder how Blunty will do when he gets back here in the UK. Well he'll certainly get to No.1 as almost 3 million people have bought Back to Bedlam...he has got a lot of stick in the media though in recent times and some people may be embrassed to buy his records now...I would have thought his next album will sell around a million but will be far smaller than Back to Bedlam
May 1, 200719 yr Author Gym Class Heroes is faring better on downloads only than MSP, there is a big gap, I think it could all change towards the end of the week
May 1, 200719 yr Gym Class Heroes is faring better on downloads only than MSP, there is a big gap, I think it could all change towards the end of the week Hopefully not as the Manics song is far far superior
May 1, 200719 yr Author Any news on Nelly's album and single? Her collaboration with Timbaland is top 5, her solo single is not top 20 Album wise Top 15, in the year to date album chart, she has hit a new peak at No.6.
