I don't think this is anything special in my opinion, she just reminds of a very young Janet Jackson.

The song is not a big hit but it is pretty popular. In Ireland it's still up the charts, on its 4th week (#8)!

Yup, I really hope the album does better in the future!

It's a massive grower IMO.

I know, problem is it grew on me months ago, still buying it tomorrow

i like Amerie, but Take Control is nowhere near as good as 1 Thing

Nice butt though

God no. :( I say 'Wonderful Life'.

Both are definitely the two strongest tracks on the album, but I'm in love with "Early Winter".

As much as I love Janet, her voice has NEVER been as strong as Amerie's in my opinion. :P

With a number 1 single in America and a number 1 UK debut album, Natasha Bedingfield is the UK's biggest female pop star bar none - a bold, beautiful home grown answer to US uber-divas Christina Aguilera and Pink. The first cut to be taken from her sophomore album 'N.B.' is 'I Wanna Have Your Babies', which lyrically touches on a woman's fight to reign in their natural disposition to "rush into things" in an effort to find that elusive "one", that potential father to their children. Musically it is distinctly "Natasha Bedingfield" – the voice to melt radios, the beats that drop either side of the Atlantic, the arrangements that are undeniably quirky, but still, somehow, work. - HMV

Don't be fooled by his MC like moniker. Jamie T is a tall, skinny lad from the south-west London suburb of Wimbledon, obsessed by The Clash, Tom Waits, Rancid and The Specials as much as he's influenced by the garage and drum'n'bass raves he grew up attending. Armed with an acoustic bass guitar, Jamie has rocked the backrooms of London pubs, playing his solo show of tales of suburbia and what it is to be a young English gentleman growing up under Tony Blair.

'Sheila' is the latest release from Jamie's acclaimed and award-winning debut album 'Panic Prevention', and is one of the first tunes Jamie ever wrote. Full of typically Jamie T pithy one-liners and a massively upbeat sing-a-long chorus ("Sheila goes out with her mate Stella, which she pours all over her fella"), it's actually a bleak tale of drunken misadventure ending up in tragedy as the "Paramedic announced death at 10.30". - HMV

Is this a re-issue of his debut single which hit #22 last year? If so I guess Jamie T doesn't like singing this song at all because he's not in the video of barely because the guy miming the song looks like the human lead in "Who Framed Roger Rabbit".
