May 24, 200719 yr Sophie ellis bextor's album never left the top 10 and is still sitting at 7, very close to top 5 for the bextor too. It is a sensentational album, and for a pop album to get in the top 10 nowadays is very good, especially from a british artist as well. I have never heard an album with 14 tracks all as good as each other, 3 years writing has paided off.
May 24, 200719 yr I think it's a much slower time of the year for albums releases than it is when we've seen Will released - only acts with ridiculous hype like Arctic Monkeys can manage the 100,000+! I really really like it, and I think the next two singles (Wake Up Call, Won't Go Home Without You) are very strong indeed, this album is going to be huge. And were you watching the same AI performance I was?! I thought he was fantastic! I like his voice in general though, their acoustic album I adore. Yes I was but maybe I just don't get his voice as this isn't the first time I've thought he was poor. Guess we'll just have to agree to differ on this one. :) I do agree album sales are also higher in the lead up to Xmas but I still thought given the sucess of the last album Maroon 5's sales would be higher.
