I've always quite respected them anyway *hides* Yeah they're not as good as Busted were but at the same time they've had some really good songs and I've even seen them live. I never see why not personally but I suppose if you're a boy band it's hard to do that but there were a lot of people who actually did admit respecting Busted towards the end :lol:

How can a band whether boy or girl band solo artist or whoever claim respect when every single they release sounds EXACTLY like the last one. 1st album singles were good and brought something fresh, All About You was promising but then it just started sounding the same and you can easily put the lyrics to Star Girl on the Please, Please backing track! How can you demand respect for doing that?

Mcfly deserve alot more respect

ithink before people slate them they should actually listen to some of their album tracks

eg Too Close for comfort,she falls asleep(just Tom on the piano)Bubble wrap and home is where the heart is

Mcfly have a lot of talent imean they all write songs play anumber of differnt instruments and are good live

Theres a greatest hits out this year and then the 4 studio album in Apr next year where they say its going to be a new sound to Mcfly and will be moreon the lines of their 2nd album Wonderland.

A whille Bck robbie williams said that he wanted to write with Tom from mcfly

I've never heard him say anything of the sort, but If he did, I can only presume he was taking the p*** :lol: I doubt he even knows much about them as he has'nt lived in the UK for 6 years.

I've watched them live on tv, they're pathetic. They only have one way to wake up and get the crowd going, by taking off there tops. :rolleyes:

im open to all sorts of music but i dont know what it is about mcfly, they annoy me so so much. busted were the same but i dread mcfly alot more

Well to be honest i don't think they are marketing themselves at all. They've got a group of men in suits telling them what to do and how to act. So in thay sense, they're not different from any other boyband.

 

I still maintain that if mcfly weren't signed to a major label and had just formed at school or something they'd be making the music they want to make and would be considered credible.
