Which is the odd one out from these lyrics and why?

2. "Didn't know how lost I was until I found you." (1984)

3. "I'm heading down the Atlanta highway, looking for a love getaway" (1989/90)

4. "I sold the Renoir, the TV set" (1984)

5. "Oh, how you brought me down (down, down)" (1985)

6. "Put on your red shoes and dance the blues" (1983)

Don't know the odd one out,but I think the songs are:

1)Addicted to love- Robert Palmer

2)Like a virgin - Madonna

3)

4)The reflex - Duran Duran

5)Frankie - Sister Sledge

6)Lets Dance - David Bowie

Five of those tracks are connected by one thing. The other one is an appropriate odd one out - when you know the answer.

Madonna - Like a virgin

The only track from the above that is not the artists highest charting hit.

Your answer is accurate but it is not the answer I'm looking for (*coughs* look at my avator pic for a clue!) ;)

rodgers produced lets dance, like a virgin, addicted to love, the reflex, so odd one out is either sister sledge or b52's

The answer is: Nile Rodgers produced 5 of the tracks except Robert Palmer's Addicted to Love .... which was produced by the late great Bernard Edwards.

Tomorrow's Question is easier .... so it will probably be answered in two minutes.
