June 10, 200719 yr Ive got a feeling by 2009 maybe Indie will phase out and make way for R&B (or maybe im being v hopeful) :P or both will die out :P
June 10, 200719 yr Well at least some of the $h!t is finally being knocked down. I haven't been listening today and this thread seems to be pretty rambled.
June 10, 200719 yr Or we could see a big return for pop music :cheer: Much rather pop than R&B, nasty American R&B was dominating for far too long. :teresa:
June 10, 200719 yr I dont think it'll be R&B. i'd say pop, or maybe dance. R&B dominated the charts not long ago, time for the other genres to take over
June 10, 200719 yr I love the random smilies  http://www.smileyhut.com/silly/sign01.gif shock shock me
June 10, 200719 yr I hope pop/dance comes back. :cheer: So sick of generic indie and American RNB. Well pop and dance are very closely linked. 10 years ago both genres started to rise in popularity together, and peaked around the same time, 1999 and 2000 more a less. Then R&B took over so they both died out. Then indie-rock took over and replaced R&B.
