Coldplay have had consistently good B Sides, but which one do you like best?

A small review:

For You

Piano led and very gentle, a lovely track :) 8/10

Careful Where You Stand

Sounds a bit like Shiver same sort of vibe. Acoustic track, very melodic 7/10

Help Is Around The Corner

Very Early Coldplay - Chris's voice is similar to that on Trouble - strained at parts. Acoustic Guitar again 7/10

No More Keeping My Feet On The Ground

This was one of Coldplays earliest tracks - It was originally from the Safety EP from 1998! :o Shows how Coldplay started, and you can hear the roots of many of their future hits there. 6/10

Brothers and Sisters

My favourite B side from the Parachutes period. Excellent lyrics, development of both acoustic and elecric guitars. Highly recommended 10/10 :P

One I Love

Moving on to the ROBTTH period, this is a bit more of a rockier song. Nothing too special imo, sounds very early Radiohead in parts! 7/10

bloom blaum

Total contrast to One I Love, this track is very quiet, almost Simon and Garfunkel-ish! 6/10

1:36

Im not quite sure where they are going with this track - its really something and nothing! Just rock noise, no real melody. 6/10

Ran Away

More like it! Typical Coldplay track, good vocal and acoustic guitar work. Pretty good overall :) 8/10

Crests Of Waves

My favourite from the ROBTTH period. Has a good guitar hook, and lyrics about being lost at sea and coming out from crests of waves 10/10 :D

Animals

A bit different to Crests of Waves, this melodic track relies more on the gentle electric Guitar. Similar to the Paracutes B sides 8/10

Things I Dont Understand

Moving on to the X&Y B sides now, there is a change in tempo and a more mature sound. Think Swallowed By the Sea for this one :) 9/10

Proof

A plaintive little tune, raw lyrics, and a bit desolate. Excellent. 9/10

The World Turned Upside Down

Brilliant. This could easily have been on the album. Good lyrics - even starts with the lyric 'X is Y, the land, sun, sea sky the stars and trees'. Displys Coldplay at their very best! 10/10 (My winner)

Pour Me

In contrast, this Live track is very B side-by-numbers! 7/10

Sleeping Sun

A chirpy nothing song  Inoffensive 7/10

Gravity

Coldplay's version (Chris wrote the track) of the tune that Embrace made famous. A slightly more downtempo version, gives a different spin on one of my favourite Embrace tunes. 10/10 B)

Yeah, I think that would be good. I've heard of them all so i'm sure everyone else who will probably talk part in the B&I will as well. ^_^
