Posted July 3, 200719 yr Will the Diana Concet affect this weeks sales? I reckon that Lily's and Nelly's album will rise a fair bit, with one of Elton's GH rising to!
July 3, 200719 yr Most probably! Or perhaps sales will just tip in favour of the featured artists ^_^
July 3, 200719 yr Nelly will definately rise! Maneater, Say it Right and Loose have all gone back up on ITunes. On Play.com, Loose is back at number 11
July 3, 200719 yr The effect on sales is quite clear to see so far - Oder tracks by Nelly Furtado, P Diddy, The Feeling and James Morrison have returned to the I-Tunes Top.50 with other artists that performed all with tracks lingering in the bottom half of the chart, It seems all the album chart will also see some big moves by most of the acts involved in the show notably James Morrison, Take That, Lily Allen etc, :yahoo:
July 3, 200719 yr Get used to it - every event like this...and weekly things like X Factor will all have an effect on the chart.
July 3, 200719 yr Nelly's album is on course for Top 10 again i think. Say It Right will probably enter the Top 40 again, and it wouldnt surprise me if Maneater went Top 75 again. Lily will do well too ^_^
July 3, 200719 yr Fergie, P Diddy, Take That, Nelly, Lily and Natasha have all benefited from this and I don't think Natasha & Fergie's current singles would've been as succesful as they are without them performing at it :o ^_^
July 3, 200719 yr Fergie, P Diddy, Take That, Nelly, Lily and Natasha have all benefited from this and I don't think Natasha & Fergie's current singles would've been as succesful as they are without them performing at it :o ^_^ I agree, Fergie is going to do brilliantly I think :D
July 4, 200719 yr and I don't think Natasha & Fergie's current singles would've been as succesful as they are without them performing at it :o ^_^ Yeah but Natasha did NOT perform it at the concert. She performed a track from her previous album, so I don't think it has helped people to love the current new single... lol Edited July 4, 200719 yr by Bertie87
July 4, 200719 yr Yeah but Natasha did NOT perform it at the concert. She performed a track from her previous album, so I don't think it has helped people to love the current new single... lol Oh, my mistake  But still I think it's helped Fergie loads, she woulda struggled to make Top 10 if it wasn't for the concert and now she's looking like she'll make Top 5 if not Top 3 :D
July 4, 200719 yr I think it certainly helped Natasha album move up about 35 places from last weeks position!
