July 8, 200719 yr Author 30 (from 21) Mutya Buena - Real Girl [P] http://www3.hmv.co.uk/hmv/Large_Images/HMV/PRERELCDSMUTYA.JPG Chart Run: 11-9-2-2-5-13-21-30 [8 wks] Release date: 28-5-2007 Availability: normally ships in 24 hours Number of Discs: 1 Catalogue Number: 1734402 Label: ISLAND Mutya Buena is back with her debut solo single 'Real Girl'. Having hit the charts with last year's George Michael duet 'This Is Not (Real Love)', Mutya goes it alone with this stunning introduction to her album, also titled 'Real Girl'. The track uses the instantly recognisable hook from Lenny Kravitz's 'It Aint Over 'Til It's Over' and lyrically Mutya confirms she’s still the no-nonsense popstar we came to admire during her time as a founding member in Sugababes. There's no doubt this sassy lady knows exactly what she's doing- look out for her re-entry into planet pop! - HMV Video here: -GC-4XUjM8M track listing 1. Real Girl 2. Naive Discussion Thread Here
July 8, 200719 yr They've been very clever in released Song 4 Mutya so early because its literally going to be top 40 the same week this falls out, so basically she wont have left the top 40 in about 4-5 months
July 8, 200719 yr Author 29 hellogoodye - Here (In Your Arms) 28 (from 15) Editors - Smokers Outside The Hospital Doors [P] http://www3.hmv.co.uk/hmv/Large_Images/HMV/SKCD93.JPG Chart Run: 30-7-15-28 [4 wks] Release date: 18-6-2007 Availability: normally ships in 24 hours Number of Discs: 1 Catalogue Number: SKCD93 Label: COLUMBIA Recorded by Garret 'Jacknife' Lee (U2, Snow Patrol, Bloc Party, etc), the five minute long 'Smokers Outside The Hospital Doors' has been earmarked by Editors as the lead single from their new album, 'An End Has A Start', since it's inception at the close of 2006. The track documents Tom Smith's reaction to a growing realisation of the confusion and complexity of life; the things we term the "big questions". The title is both darkly humorous and deeply poignant and is the perfect introduction to the band’s more complex and considered follow up to debut 'The Back Room'. - HMV Video here: 7c3jK32pOt8 track listing 1. July 8, 200719 yr Mutya!! Still can't stop laughing at #78 "Stop"! lool Well at least it has done better than Elton John's Candle In The Wind 97. The Princess Diana paper otherwise known as the Daily Express predicted it would be Top10 today.
July 8, 200719 yr This sounds exactly the same as the Interpol track :puke2: = Another Ian Curtis / Joy Division tribute act. But I liked Joy Division.

Difference is there wasnt a 'Candle To The Top' campaign  The fact there was actually a campaign to get Stop to the top and yet it missed the Top 75 just makes me CACKLE!
