I am still greatly missing my daily Neighbours fix.

Neighbours made the short list on the NTA it's up against Eastenders Corrie and Emmerdale and beat hollyoaks to get there so I've given it my vote, I'd love to see them win.

Whilst I'd love it to come back I must say that I'm not sure I'm missing it yet. That may be because I've started watching other shows on streaming now at 6:30pm to take it's place.

For me it feels like the show is on a holidays, like at Christmas when its off air for a while, but for now i would love to see them win the NTA for best soap as i think it would be a lovely little send off from the UK fans.

It’ll definitely sink in at some point I know.

 

Also the farewell tour that’s happening in the UK soon has been confirmed for Australia.

I see Annie Jones (jane) is joining the tour aswell.

That's great! I wonder how different the Australian cast will be.

Do you think the fans will really get behind them now and vote for them for NTA'S?

I cant see it returning and if it does it will be along time away, arent the sets already pulled down.

Not Neighbours related specifically but Ian Smith (Harold) features in these two adds for Uber One. First one makes me laugh

 

 

I was disappointed Neighbours didn't secure enough votes to win Best Soap at the NTA's.

Amazing news and so unexpected after it not long ending.

Great news.

 

I’ll be very interested to see who returns as a lot of the cast will have found other work or maybe not want to return?

 

Clearly Guy Pearce won’t come back so be very interesting to see what happens to that Jane and Mike story that anchored the finale.

Very interesting to see how the storyline will go for Jane and Mike, Guy obviously wont be back but if Annie Jones decides not to reprise her role as Jane Mike and Jane will off in happy ever after land, but if she returns i would be interested in how they tell the story. Scott and Charlene is easy to rewrite as it could be overlooked as a quick visit to ramsay street and bought the house and rented it out. The reports are saying Paul Toadie, Karl and Susan are going to be back and im sure Terese will be aswell, hopefully a good few of them stay with the show and also that the return goes well.

So glad its coming back I read the news earlier through Digital Spy, don't count on Guy Pearce coming back though, as for Jane I think she will come back, as she was a bit sad that the show ended. I wouldn't be surprised if its all a dream invented by Paul in his sleep, when he wakes up the following morning. :lol: deja vu... Dallas :D

 

Hopefully the new family will return, as they were a welcome addition to the show.

I think I'm the only person who thinks this is a bit of a shame.

 

All those ex cast members coming back for the finale, and then a few months later it's all coming back again.

 

I think Kylie, Jason, Guy, Natalie etc would be feeling a bit narked at that.
