Tbh i'm a bit disappointed with it. After one listen it hasn't really done much for me, but I think its a grower, well I hope. There is a balance between slow tracks like Run and faster tracks like their new single. Hands Open and Open Your Eyes are my favourite tracks on the album after one listen.

There are three bonus tracks on the album, but it should really only be two bonus tracks as track twelve is entitled - and, I listened to it for 40 seconds and basically all it is, is nothing apart from this girl's voice in the background which you van just hear

well it says special so i wonder if it's like Placebo and come with a dvd and book?

I deinitley know that you can buy a DVD version of it, but I ain't sure about the book.

the Placebo package was good even though the book was better than the dvd

Final Straw was so bland I just couldnt get into it shame as I think theyre fab.

Love the new single though so Im gonna download some bfore buying.

I agree, I loved 'Chocolate' and 'Spitting Games' and bought that album as a result, I deeply regreted doing so ever since as they were the only two songs on it I actually liked!

new album is a bit of a grower, but still nothing as tood as their other albums. 'When It's All Over...' remanining their best album by far.

Whenever Snow Patrol is mentioned I always make a point of reminding people to go out and buy Reindeer Section - Son of Evil Reindeer. You WILL love it.

Snow Patrol - Eyes Open

http://www3.hmv.co.uk/hmv/Large_Images/HMV/PRERELCDSNOWP.JPG

After years in rock wilderness, Snow Patrol were catapulted to the dizzying heights of the charts in 2004 with breakthrough single 'Run', taken from their album 'Final Straw', which went on to sell in excess of two million copies. Following world conquering touring schedules and the recruitment of a new bassist and keyboardist, Snow Patrol return with new album 'Eyes Open', a sprawling and epic rock masterpiece. Featuring the new single 'You're All I Have', 'Eyes Open' is packed full of gargantuan choruses, clever pop hooks, and gentle and affecting widescreen classics. - HMV

it's their worst album easily... only songs I put on rotation were It's Beginning To Get To Me and Set The Fire To The Third Bar...

I think this is a brilliant album, its a shame to see it rubbished!

The best track (after Chasing Cars) is Fire on the Third Bar with Martha Wainwright.

I'm listening to it right now.

I've just borrowed it from my local Library and will burn a copy of it on my PC later. :D

I think it's great - certainly better than Final Straw. I should really get their first two as what I've heard is better than this. Though not as good as anything by The Reindeer Section. I hope they do another album. Oh and although Chasing Cars is amazing it's a rip-off of Cartwheels!

It does take a while to grow on you.

I quite like Chasing Cars, a far better single than You're All I Have.
