Another strange week on the BuzzJack Chart (primarily due to a lower than usual number of charts posted) sees just 50 songs score more than 21 points and Infernal claim an 88 point margin ahead of Rihanna who climbs ever nearer to the #1 with former #1 Embrace regaining one place back up to #3. Normally on a good week,a song would require 100 points to manage a Top 10 placing,but this week is not the case, with The Flaming Lips & Snow Patrol taking full advantage of a low submission week and just slipping in at #s 10 & 9 respectively. Chicane ft Tom Jones having another good week climbing seven to #5 & Kelly Clarkson establishing 'squatters rights' now the only song remaining on the BuzzJack Chart managing all 7 of her weeks within the confines of the Top 10. Only one song is a faller between 11 & 20,Fall Out Boy slip back down four from #7 last week,with Hard Fi edging ever closer to the Top 10,Girls Aloud another advantageous act rebounding back up 26 to #13 with The Raconteurs, Nina Simone ft Groovefinder & Nerina Pallot making impressive leaps into the Top 20. Highest new entry this week comes from The Pet Shop Boys,'I'm with stupid' entering at #17 with Beatfreekz (yes,another dancey 80's sampled tune!) and Red Hot Chili Peppers regaining ground going back up 12 surpassing their entry peak of #23 a fortnight ago.Daz Simpson stays at #20 keeping the bottom of the Top 20 nice & warm. Any one of the songs between 11 & 20 could have made the Top 10 this week if at least one more personal chart was to be submitted,but it wasn't to be. Slow burner 'Hoppipolla' by Sigur Ros climbs closer to the Top 20,up eight to #24 and Christina Milian enters the Top 30 for the first time in 3 weeks on the Top 40. Deep Dish,Dirty Little Things & Kate Ryan (who coincidentally only charted in the Top 2 on just 2 personal charts) enter the Top 30 but can any of those score more points next week in order to make a sizeable climb on the BuzzJack Chart ?? May 1, 200619 yr Author Sorry I'll try and submit one this week :( No worries Wickers,I appreciate members are busy & easily forget.As I mentioned in reply to Jesters post,when the BuzzJack Chart has a low turn-out,some songs which only appear in 2 or 3 Top 20s manage to enter the Top 40,where if it was a bumper week for charts,they'd normally scrape between #41 & #60. Which is good news for some. ;) Look forward to seeing the 'Wicky chart' soon.

May 5, 200619 yr Author Rihanna should be #1. :( Well,as I type this,Infernal is currently just 1 point ahead of Rihanna. [194:193] :o Both songs are the runaway leaders at the moment,so the Top 2 songs look set to be safe again,but who ends up at #1 between 'S.O.S' & 'From Paris to Berlin' depends on how high Personal Chart contributors chart those 2 particular songs. One solitary personal chart can make all the difference ! ;)
