August 21, 200718 yr "Kala" top 40 :o Who'd have thought it, unless I'm mistaken her last album didn't even chart anywhere :lol: Kala should do well internationally too. The US reviews have been phenomenal. It got a 4/4 in the LA Times, which makes it one of the best albums of the decade (let alone year).

Its as many if not more than watch GMTV or Loose Women, with the bonus of it being an energetic live performance.

It only became a hit when Other side of the world came out I remember buying it in Feb 2005 around the time that Black Horse came out...the album was at 60-something in the charts...it only started to get big in May/June 2005 I personally am holding out for the album as I can wait for Hold On for another couple of weeks...its not a legendary single, though it is very good...

It's been in the 40 on downloads for weeks and Rihanna's core audience (hip pop / r'n'b) are big physicals buyers. Plus it's based on 'Blue Monday' - how can it not hit the top 10? Also, if 1% of the Dance X audience buy the single (not improbable) that's 25,000 extra copies.
