Hard-Fi are back, and with one of the singles of the year, 'Suburban Knights'. The first track to be taken from their eagerly awaited second studio LP 'Once Upon A Time In The West', it's a blistering, electro-urban psalm of rousing hooks and genre-spanning sounds that's set to define the summer and dominate airwaves.

Written by frontman Richard Archer and co-produced by Richard with Wolsey White, the new single is a welcome return for the critically acclaimed four-piece. Mixed by Spike Stent, whose previous credits include U2, Bjork and Madonna, the track is available to download from August 13th. - HMV

It's been a wicked year for young Kate Nash- she fell down the stairs, broke her foot and found that actually, she could write songs. Kate fused poetry with performance and beats and has produced peerless pop confections. The first of these was 'Caroline Is A Victim' which sent myspace crazy. Kate has since signed to Fiction and gone from strength to strength, with 'Foundations' being her first proper single, with an album to follow in September. - HMV

Still love "Foundations"

Elvis, UGH.

"Foundations" is her best off a rather poor album imo

The new single "Mouthwash" has excellent production but lyrically am I the only one who finds it makes absolutely no sense and is rather random? :S

Well it is hard to believe that this song is now 50 years old now and the tune once hold held the record for the longest running #1 single of the rock era until Boyz II Men' End of the Road broke the record in 1992
