Posted September 4, 200717 yr Are Sugababes in strife again? ALL is not sweetness and light in the SUGABABES camp. I hear the girls could be poised for yet ANOTHER change to their line-up. KEISHA BUCHANAN and HEIDI RANGE held a crisis summit about the future of new girl AMELLE BERRABAH after a string of blazing rows in the recording studio. And it seems Amelle’s days could be numbered after the girls arranged secret auditions for a new member to join the group. A string of hopefuls were invited to a hush-hush X Factor-style meeting at Terminal Studios at London Bridge on Sunday for a trial, unaware they were in with a chance of joining one of our biggest girlbands. The Sugababes seem to have had more team changes than Steve McLaren’s England squad. If Amelle is shown the door, her replacement will make it four different line-ups in six years. Since Amelle replaced original band member MUTYA BUENA, she has brought nothing but strife to the group. It seems she was so Lost In her now ex-bloke Freddie Fuller that she forgot her main priority should have been the band. Heidi and Keisha stood by Amelle when Freddie was questioned in February over the alleged rape of her younger sister — which he strenuously denied. But then Amelle herself brought shame on the group in April after she was arrested then released without charge after a bar room brawl in Guildford. Blonde Heidi and Keisha needed her private problems affecting the band like a Hole In The Head. Things went really sour when Amelle went AWOL from the group and failed to appear at a gig in Aberdeen before arriving late for recording sessions for their new album. A source said: “Keisha and Heidi are the ultimate professionals when it comes to their career. They have worked hard for everything they have achieved. Amelle doesn’t seem to take it as seriously. When the girls were recording their latest album, Amelle kept arriving late to the studio. They had blazing rows over timekeeping. “The Sugababes were always known as being a bitchy group, but when Amelle joined they went out of their way to accept her into the group and gave her nothing but support over Freddie. “But they feel that support has been thrown back in their face. She was handed a golden ticket and the chance to be in one of the UK’s most successful girlbands. But the girls feel she has let them down.” I remember a similar situation when Mutya left the band. The girls insisted everything was fine between them — but weeks later Mutya walked out. It seems the girls, who have a new single out on September 24, are preparing a back-up in case the worst scenario happens. Maybe it’s time for The Sugababes to be put to rest and the girls to go solo. Source: The Sun However..... Sugababes Not Losing A Member Amelle Berrabah denies she is leaving Sugababes have denied they are losing a member. As previously reported newest recruit Amelle Berrabah was reported to be leaving the band. However, in a statement fellow 'babe Keisha Buchanan said: "Things couldn't be better in the band at the moment. Amelle, Heidi (Range) and I are a rock solid team." Berrabah added: "I'm 110 per cent committed to Sugababes. It's a dream come true. I can't wait to perform the new album live." The band are set to release their new single 'About You Now' on September 24. Their new LP 'Change' follows on October 8. Source: NME.com Thoughts? Rumours are always cropping up but surely there must be SOME truth in these secret auditions? Or are you denying all existence of any friction and believing NME?
September 4, 200717 yr LMAO :P This is a load of tabloid bollox. Obviously they were short on stories to run.

September 5, 200717 yr Guys, it is all rubbish :P There's been no pics of these so called 'auditons', and the Sugas' website have denied it. ;)
September 5, 200717 yr I really don't like Amelle But I don't want anyone to interpretate that means I dislike the band :teresa:
September 5, 200717 yr Would the Sugababes bother to replace Amelle? I think not. It's highly unlikely that they'd get rid of her and replace her. Don't think it would go down too well. Anyway I hope they don't replace her.
