September 20, 200717 yr He has just come back from LA last week where he was recording, he has also spent time in Nashville working with Keith Urban, the new album is planned for spring 08. His last album sold over 600,000 worldwide so I'm sure he will be back!
September 21, 200717 yr HE needs a big hit his last 2 solo albums havent done great,i know the hits collection in between done well but he needs another big selling studio album
September 21, 200717 yr I think its a conservative thing with Ronan and the label. He has paid back his initial solo advance and he doesn't take a huge advance on any new albums so therefore the promotion stays fairly low-key and in-budget, the off set of this is that they don't have to sell quite so many albums to make back the money they have laid out. As long as he makes a profit through sales and touring they are happy. He is also very friendly with Colin Barlow so I think he is safe at Polydor as long as he wants to be. ;) I think also his priorities have changed somewhat now, spending time with his 3 kids and playing golf  Edited September 21, 200717 yr by make my day
September 21, 200717 yr I hate him, his voice is like nails across a blackboard for me. Unfortunately I'm subjected to him on a regular basis as my mother owns his Greatest Hits and blasts it out often. :arrr:
September 21, 200717 yr Some of his early solo stuff was alright and he was fine in Boyzone but his post-2003 material (country covers) has been awful
September 21, 200717 yr Author I am very pleased he wıll be releasıng new materıal. I have lıked all hıs solo stuff to date.
September 21, 200717 yr He's a really nice guy, I've met him a few times, but his singing voice is beyond awful. It sounds like he's singing through his nose  He does have a few alright pop songs, but I could'nt name any of his singles in the past 4-5 years tbh. Boyzone will be back shortly anyway sadly. :(
September 21, 200717 yr Oh I have no doubt Ronan Keating will be around singing for as long as he lives, he'll be one of the ones who sells modestly but consistently, rarely gets any media attention but always has his fans, a la Daniel O'Donnell. Life Is A Rollercoaster was rather good, that's been about it though, the material from the last four or so years has all blurred into one, he long ago abandoned doing even the odd upbeat single.
September 22, 200717 yr I quite like him, he always seems so down to Earth and very grounded. As for his material, it's kind of hit and miss with me, the duet with LeAnn Rimes (Last Thing On My Mind) is one of my favourite tracks ever. His early material was good, but i'll agree with the notion that he's gone a bit South as of late.
September 22, 200717 yr the duet with LeAnn Rimes (Last Thing On My Mind) is one of my favourite tracks ever. fantastic song!
September 22, 200717 yr I like his voice, but I think he's cashed in on too many cover versions over the years. He needs to come up with good original material to keep the interest up. He seems to have loyal fans who turn up to his concerts though, so maybe he's happy with that?
September 23, 200717 yr I like him: his last album was really good, the only problem was that all his albums sound the same
September 23, 200717 yr I don't like the music he does now, I thought he was ok with Boyzone and the first couple of singles he did as a solo artist were alright as well. But he seems to have got old before his time, he's only 30 but his music is really dull and staid. He's got a good following though and he'll be around for as long as he wants to be.
September 24, 200717 yr His music is incredibly dull and boring, especially since 2001/2. I did like Rollercoaster
