Posted October 9, 200717 yr aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaargh!!! :puke2: they are so totally annoying, once you get their song in your brain they cant escape and drive you insane!!! im thinking this guilty pleasures pop act could be more annoying than mika and the feeling put together
October 9, 200717 yr HORRIFIC Faux-wacky, dull, irritating, manufactured. I COULD GO ON. Who in their right mind would want to see them live? :/
October 9, 200717 yr Goodbye Mr A was so blatantly recorded and produced with Radio 1 in mind. I hate it.
October 11, 200717 yr Author HORRIFIC Faux-wacky, dull, irritating, manufactured. I COULD GO ON. please do man please do
October 11, 200717 yr I despise them...pop for the now mass indie market indie is becoming as bad as pop was 5 years ago at the moment...so now pop is becoming more stylish and of higher quality I'm hoping bands like Hoosiers/Scouting For Girls/Orson disappear very soon to let good pop come back
October 11, 200717 yr Definately agree Gooddelta. Disgusting band - the lead singer looks like an oompa loompa - the songs are lazy and idiotic but yet the public seem to lap them up. -_-
October 11, 200717 yr I quite like their new single, but their last one was one of the worst of 2007! They're just dull, un-origina,l radio friendly, indie-pop.
October 12, 200717 yr Nah, it's definitely pop. Indie is the 'in' sound so so many bands have made dreadful pop records with a slight indie sound to it so they can get sales from both pop fans and also cash in on people who think it sounds like the next big thing because it sounds 'a bit indie'. The Hoosiers and Scouting For Girls are easily the two worst acts to emerge this year. They're just inferior versions of McFly.
October 12, 200717 yr I'm just used to pop as being Britney, Dido, All Saints, Sugababes, Aly & AJ, etc. So the Hoosiers for me drift away from that pure pop category and are more indie based.
October 12, 200717 yr I don't see the problem with them tbh  Allthough im shore you'll disagree with me
October 14, 200717 yr they are vile. my sister likes them but i've noticed that these days she only likes what Radio 1 tell her to.

I agree with you here. But I guess we have to realise that these sort of $h!tty bands like Hoosiers/S4G and Orson ARE Pop these days. Pop isn't what it used to be a few years ago :( I blame Busted + McFly tbh - they changed the idea of pop from boys on stools to boys with guitars and it's just gotten a more indie sound to it with the likes of Kaisers/Killers etc. I know what I mean even if it sounds like a load of $h!t but that's my take on it anyway.

But as an Indie fan I'm used to it having a much less commercial sound like Arcade Fire or Flaming Lips. Or if it is commercial it is still easy to tell that a band built up their fanbase over a number of years such as Arctic Monkeys, Franz Ferdinand or Kaiser Chiefs before becoming commercially successful. Not $h!te like this or Orson which is practically made to be played to death on daytime, commercial radio.
