In the last few months, Kate Nash has become the new queen of indie-pop – and this is just the beginning of her journey. 'Mouthwash' is the second single to come from Kate Nash’s #1 debut album 'Made of Bricks' and follows-up one of the biggest singles of 2007 - 'Foundations'. As minty fresh as the title implies, 'Mouthwash' is a classic example of Kate Nash’s incredible prowess as a pop songwriter and is accompanied by an amazing video, featuring skaters from Starlight Express! - HMV

Umbrella... I can't believe I still love this song that much... :o

There must be some subliminal messages in the song or summit that make love it

Apologize is amazing  I wouldn't have bet one penny that he would release something decent after the awful Give it to me! Fortunately I'm proved wong :P

Mouthwash... and here again the 2nd single is far better than the 1st one :P

You guys are too hard to please; they're doing just fine. I think you all forget that the chart is run for the general public as much as us music nerds who check the midweeks!

Surely the point of a top 40 is to play the top 40? Or atleast tell us what's in it

You've done the chart run wrong :P

Edited, thanks

*now goes and dies*

I've heard a couple of chart shows on Radio 1, also in Germany and in my home country, and what they do now is not really professional for a chart show, but of course this is my opinion! ;)

Do you think the presenters control the show? No, that's what the producers do. Anyway, you're getting a recap.

Why are they missing songs out? I wouldn't mind if they actually read out the artist and title - it's not that hard?!

Mark Goodier used to do it this way, and now there is a recap for Nos 31-40

They do a rundown now? :o

31 (23) Kate Nash – Mouthwash

32 (**) Timbaland feat. One Republic – Apologize (D)

33 (25) Kate Nash – Foundations

34 (32) Rihanna feat. Jay-Z – Umbrella

35 (**) The Wombats – Let’s Dance To Joy Division (D)

36 (34) The Hoosiers – Worried About Ray

37 (40) Kanye West feat. T.Pain – Good Life

38 (27) Jack Penate – Second Minute Or Hour

39 (**) Nicole Scherzinger – Baby Love (D)

40 (30) 30 Seconds To Mars – The Kill (Rebirth)

Oh It was 2 good to be true :(

I know. We have awful producers who come up with a $h!te format and even worse presenters to make it sound even worse.

Just WHAT is the point in the retro? It's just a waste of airtime when actual songs in the CHART could be played - this is the CHART show isn't it?
