Futureproof were fast becoming Westlife clones

I bet they would have been sat on stools next week :naughty:

Simon was funny saying "bollo***" lol Was better than Kimberley on the first week saying "F**k" straight after her song had finished I guess lol

Hope(less) were abysmal tonight - they're about as sexy and alluring as a week-old greasy black pudding. They're just... desperate. A career fronting soft porn cable channels beckons for at least half of them, I think.

Shocked that Furureproof were knocked out - they looked the part, for sure (apart from Jimmy Krankie on the end). More shocked that Louis Walsh voted against 5 nubile young men.... maybe they'd knocked him back behind the scenes?

Nikki lost her way with the Chicago number tonight - it was the wrong song for her completely - her voice is too good.

To say the show isn't fixed, though - utter craziness. Hope will be in the final, whether they're voted there or not. Tonight was just a bit of fun 'drama'...and all this nonsense at the end about which act the judges send home - it's all pre-planned to leave us with a cliffhanger. In reality, Futureproof were never going to go that far in the contest, and Hope will. However dreadful they are.

Rhidian - why does every song he sings sound exactly like Phantom of the Opera?

Same Difference make me feel uneasy - there's something sinister about a brother/sister duo who look so... comfortable and joyous together. I keep expecting them to snog. It just aint natural.

Andy - how wet can one man get? He has some sort of a voice. I just wish he'd use it. Hilarious that Louis Walsh said his song was too 'obscure' tonight  Burt Bacharach? You know, possibly one of the world's greatest.... and most well-known - composers. And one of his best-known songs - a classic, actually. Only someone involved with something as truly gut-wrenching as Westlife could even imagine such nonsense. Idiot.

It's disgusting. $h!t like Alisha get through on sympathy, whilst decent acts fall to the bottom <_<

Same Difference & Alisha got through?

GET IT. B)

Same Difference & Alisha got through?

Alisha was brill tonight. :o

Are you nuts?????

It's Simon's show, he hires the judges, it's produced by his production company, he 's been responsible for forcing acts to switch songs at short notice, he gets acts signed to his label Syco (Westlife & Shayne Ward) to rave about a certain Girl act & the winning act ends up on his record label.

Taking that into account that he is affectively the judge & the jury how is it not a fix?

Well the public vote, and clearly if it was a fix Hope wouldn't have been one of the 2 acts least voted for by the public.

How immature is that? The fact that they have sibling love is beautiful, not bloody unnatural.

I didn't see their performance tonight, so I don't know.

I like them though.

Alisha was brill tonight. :o

Her voice is so....monotone. There's no emotion or climax to any of her songs

There weren't any BAD performances tonight, but there were a few mediocre ones.

Hope should have gone based on tonight's performance. When they sing as a group, they're fine. Individually though it was painfully apparant how out of tune the girls were. By far the weakest vocalists in the competition.

Andy was better this week than last, but it's still awkward. Although he got better at the end of the song, there was a point in the middle where he was completely drowned out by the backing band. His voice just lacks any sort of power. I expect him to be in the final though purely through the silly girl vote.

Rhydian's performance was plain bizarre, but then that's part of his appeal though. I honestly think him winning could be the best outcome for the show; he'd be the only winner where Simon Cowell would struggle to thrust a bland ballad cover onto as the Christmas single, he more than anyone has a chance to really break out and forge a lasting career.

On pure vocals, Beverley won it tonight, she managed to overshadow Niki with the long notes at the end.

Same Difference weren't bad, and are the best of the groups, although whether Simon appreciates that or not I don't know. Although their style of music isn't my thing whatsoever, they do it well, they actually enjoy themselves, their voices are pretty muc fine, and there is a feel-good factor there.

Alisha was a nice surprise, I was convinced she'd be gone tonight, but the Amy Winehouse thing really suited her voice to the ground. Whether she can do the same every week from now on though is debatable. Just one slip up and she'll be gone.
