That Spice Girls song really is only selling on name alone, so disgraceful.

Have you not stopped and thought that some people might actually like the song?

Of course, but I've hardly seen universally glowing reviews or reception for it either.

Maybe not. But they ain't bringing an album out there just releasing a single for charity, and doing a tour.

I like the song, and it features quite highly on the Buzzjack Multichart so I can't be the only one to like it.

So to say it's only selling because it's the spice girls, could be true in some ways, but would people actually buy a song they didn't like?

Alicia #4 :o

Kylie #12

Spice Girls #18

YEY go Spices :cheer:

the song is beautiful...

It makes me want to throw up over the radio.

But each to their own.

Well I don't like it either but that's all I'm saying. Lots of people bought Joe Dolce's Shaddapya Face and kept probably one of the best songs of the 1980's from getting to number one. So you're right ... each to their own.

I wouldn't throw up over a perfectly good radio for it though ... I'd at least manage to make my way to the bathroom!

Kylie #11

Spice #16

Maybe in the next update the Spices will have surpassed Kylie!

Can't wait for the battle on Sunday!

I agree with Aly, it only sells on name. If it was not the SG and not a CIN single, this song would have never been on itunes top20 in 2 days (would have never been top20 at all IMO), it wouldn't get any radio support, and people would even not give a 2nd listen to it.

Not surprised by your comment seeing your sig.

Do I have to remind you the GA #1's? 2 out of 3 are from charity singles. (Let's not discuss their quality...) The other one is a single released from the final of the most watched programme in the UK at the time.

So, please, stop talking of selling thanks to charity and hype...

Haha brilliant

Couldnt have put it better myself.

Fair do's with the Girls Aloud comments, but they have still achieved numerous Top 5 / Top 10's under their own steam, a few with first week sales which would be comfortable No.1 hits if released in a less busy week. Anyway...

Spice Girls climb to 14 on iTunes, Kylie sticks at 11

Huh? I have never said that 'Walk this way' was a true succes, I'm the first one to say it was all about the Comic Relief hype.

But you're a bit out of subject. I was talking about the Spice Girls, and the fact I'm a GA fan doesn't mean I have no right to comment a SG song. I know that GA will NEVER have the worldwide success and appeal of SG, I'm just saying that the new SG single is bland and very poor for pop icons, that's my right to think it, no?

And f1mad, you're just a sad f***er, everytime someone disagrees with me, you're like "hurrah you're the best haha he's a sad tosser mother f***ing c**t"... GET A LIFE and just stop replying or quoting or talking about my posts, and everything will be fine.
